Property Management firm Cureoscity asked me to develop a gamification option to drive uptake of a new building specific app for their client; the Leadenhall Building in the City of London (also known as “the Cheesegrater”).
The brief required the game to feature the building in a prominent role as well as the names and logos of the companies that rented space within.
I originated a concept based on a sandwich delivery platform game which included different sandwich types, impatient customers, demented trolley jockeys, stairway “cornucopia” bonus ghosts and hazardous city traffic… whomever makes the most cash before the customers get thoroughly fed up with your incompetence gets the highest score!
The Leadenhall Building
I developed the game in Unity and included a PlayFab based high score feature which allowed for competitive play as well as an email contact collection opportunity. You can play a pre-deployment test version here – the game is playable on iPad with touch or desktop with keyboard controls. Can you beat the best? PS if you leave your real email address I’ll send you the odd email 😉 good luck.
